Continuing Education Commitment to Health Professionals of New Jersey
TOMS RIVER, N.J. – National Stroke Awareness Month took place in May and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls and Toms River took steps to educate the New Jersey community and enhance the care provided to stroke patients.
HealthSouth Tinton Falls and Toms River hosted 100 case managers from all over the state of New Jersey on May 20 as part of a quarterly education series featuring keynote speaker Henry Moyle M.D., Ph.D., of Columbia Neurosurgery Network and new lead neurosurgeon of the Jay and Linda Grunin Neuro Science Unit at Community Medical Center. Dr. Moyle presented “Acute Stroke and Intervention” at the continuing education presentation held at the Crystal Point Beach and Yacht Club in Point Pleasant. Dr. Moyle is a Diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons specializing in emergent interventional techniques for patients who are experiencing a stroke.
